Not every day you will get to see something as good as Thunderbird Kolos Power Cruiser by JEDI Customs. Based on the popular Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350, the motorcycle you see here carries a completely different stance and flaunts huge tyres at both ends.
Keen eyes will even notice a new swingarm and thus, the wheelbase gets extended by a few millimetres automatically. The huge tyres demand a new set of wheels and JEDI Customs has used all-new black-painted spoke units that could support even a superbike-size giant rear tyre.
The headlight used here is completely retro-designed while the suspension components are inspired by the Royal Enfield Bullet 350. Both wheels of this modified Thunderbird 350 are equipped with the standard available set of disc brakes while most of the other components have been fabricated in-house by JEDI Customs.
The huge fuel tank, razor-sharp battery panel, and uniquely designed belly area make Thunderbird Kolos a unique option among other modified Royal Enfield motorcycles by the design house. The divided seat of the stock model has been replaced with an ultra-cushioned single seat with a custom backrest. The rear fender has also been specifically made to take the huge rear wheel under control.
The custom handlebar is extra wide and has been placed much lower than the stock option available on the Thunderbird 350. Using a custom exhaust unit completes the mod and helps it achieve the unique look of a power cruiser. The last-gen BS4 model of the Thunderbird 350 is powered by a carburettor fed, air-cooled engine, and no changes to the motor have been made by JEDI Customs.
The 346cc, single-cylinder unit on the motorcycle is good for a maximum power of 19.8HP @ 5250 rpm and a peak torque of 28Nm @ 4000 rpm. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox.
The Thunderbird Kolos power cruiser also features a custom-finished rear light while the number plate holder has been moved to the left side of the swing arm. Royal Enfield motorcycles are the most preferred option for customization for their easy dynamics and huge stance. JEDI Customs has even used a racing stripe on the fuel tank to give the Kolos a unique touch in terms of the design.
