Royal Enfield 650cc twins have proved to become one of the most successful products by the Chennai-based two-wheeler manufacturer. Among all of the Royal Enfield motorcycles, 650cc twins are the most popular choice among digital artists to showcase their imagination and creativity.
Stalin K Raju, the owner of SKR Motovlogs, has recently revealed a one-of-its-kind 650cc RE concept, which has been christened as 650 RR, and we must mention that SKR has done a fantastic job and we have never seen such a beautiful concept motorcycle based on the 650cc Royal Enfield.
Talking about the design elements, the Royal Enfield 650 RR sportbike features a dual-headlight setup and the overall design of the bike seems to be inspired by the Honda CBR1000RR-R Fireblade. SKR has successfully managed to place the components in such a way that none of the parts looks out of place and they gel perfectly with the overall profile of the sports bike. The RE 650 RR features a red and white dual-tone colour scheme while the chrome-finished engine is partially visible with the Royal Enfield moniker clearly visible.
Talking about the engine, the Royal Enfield 650 RR is equipped with the same 648cc parallel-twin, 4-stroke, fuel-injected engine that is capable of churning out a maximum power of 47HP @ 7150 rpm and a peak torque of 52Nm @ 5250 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
Coming to the suspension components, the sports bike features golden USD forks at the front end and a yellow monoshock absorber at the rear end. In terms of braking, the RE 650 RR features disc brakes at both ends, which are further mated to a dual-channel ABS unit.
Officially, Royal Enfield has no immediate plans to work on a fully-faired sports bike for the Indian markets though, one can expect the brand to enter the sportbike segment sometime in the future.
