Royal Enfield’s twin cylinder motorcycle was recently spotted testing in India by Team-BHP reader aravind.anand. The motorcycle was even spied internationally around an year ago but still has no concrete news about its existence. The chances are rare that they will get a different body style after the testing is over. There has been no official statement on anything from Royal Enfield yet. The bike spied in Spain was equipped with chrome exhausts while the one spotted in India had Matte Black units. The one spotted here is even carrying the traditional Indian left side chain placement. The expected engine on the same is 750 cc, twin cylinder motor producing 50 BHP and 60 Nm of torque. It will most probably carry a 5-speed gearbox.

Royal Enfield is expected to target entry level Harley Davidson Street 750 and Triumph Street Twin with its new motorcycle. Both of the rivals are quite competitively placed but still feel expensive for an average Indian motorcycle lover. The popularity of Royal Enfield and their strict brand following will guarantee success to the new product. It can be priced anywhere below the Harley Davidson Street 750, most probably carrying a price gap of around INR 1 lakh for perfect placement.
