Accessorized Version of Next-Gen Royal Enfield Classic Spotted

Royal Enfield has recently launched the BS6-compliant Classic 350 cruiser in the Indian market that has been equipped with minimal cosmetic and mechanical updates. In addition to this, the brand has also been testing its next-gen Royal Enfield Classic variant which has been recently spotted with accessories in a new set of spy shots.

Some reports suggest that the brand will be launching the 2020 iteration of its products by mid-2020 though there has been no official confirmation received on the same.

Coming to the accessorised next-gen Royal Enfield Classic motorcycle, the recent spy shots easily confirm that the motorcycle will be available to the customers with an optional windscreen at the front. In addition to this, the customers can also get their hands on alloy wheels for their upcoming Royal Enfield Classic since the brand had already equipped the BS6 variant with an alloy wheels setup.

In terms of design language, the next-gen Royal Enfield Classic features similar bits and pieces when compared to the BS6 variant while the next-gen variant will feature a semi-digital instrument console. The grab rail on the motorcycle has also been redesigned a bit while the under-seat panel is also new. In addition to this, some tweaks have been offered to the cockpit design while one can also expect the new frame to be tuned to offer maximum comfort.

Though there has been no information on the displacement of the upcoming motorcycle, some reports do suggest the motorcycle to feature a 400cc engine. The power and torque figures have not been disclosed as of yet while the motorcycle is expected to offer optimum power delivery.

Coming to the hardware specifications, the next-gen Royal Enfield Classic motorcycle features disc brakes at either side mated to dual-channel ABS as standard. The suspension duties are handled by telescopic forks at the front while the rear has been equipped with twin-sided shock absorbers. Once launched in India, the next-gen Classic is expected to get a premium of INR 15,000 over its current-gen BS6-compliant variant which is available in the market at a price tag of 1.65 lakh (ex-showroom).
