Best-Ever Spy Photos of 750cc 2-Cylinder Royal Enfield Motorcycle

Royal Enfield is working hard on its 750cc, twin cylinder motorcycle as it was once again spotted testing in India. This time, the changes on the motorcycle were clearly visible, replacing the old single seat design with a long one and carrying fuel injection in place of the carburetor setup.

Based on Continental GT’s double cradle frame, the new 750 cc motorcycle could adopt the same single seat as standard and may offer this longer seat as an option. They have even replaced the Pirelli Sport Demon tyres with Phantom Sportscomps for better everyday driving.

Looking more like the Bonneville series motorcycle in its long seat guise, the new 750cc twin cylinder engine would bring ABS as standard for the India spec model.

It will look more like the beefed up version of Continental GT and may even get the same name with a 750 at the end. The frame sharing will keep cost under check while required addition for added strength would be in need for the huge raise in torque. One could expect the value to be 1.5 times the current torque production of Continental GT (44 Nm).

Royal Enfield could introduce the production ready version at EICMA 2017 while launch is expected to come around the starting days of 2018. Expected pricing for the same revolves around INR 4 lakh, most probably being even lower than this figure with higher part sharing.

The rivals on the list are Triumph Street Twin and Harley Davidson Street 750. Both of them are priced at a higher point due to lesser localization and respective branding techniques. After the downfall in Himalayan glory, RE may test this bike to extreme limits before the launch.
