Here's How You Can Own a Royal Enfield Classic 500 Tribute Black

Royal Enfield has recently announced the limited edition Classic 500 Tribute Black, the last motorcycle of its portfolio to carry the iconic long-stroke single-cylinder UCE 500cc engine. The bike will be made to order in limited numbers and will be available through an online sale only. The registration has already begun on the brand’s official website. To own a Classic 500 Tribute Black, one has to sign up by filling out the registration form with details including your name, mobile number, email ID, state and city of current residence. The next process will lead you to the generation of a unique code. This code will act as your ticket for the online sale on February 10th, 2020 between 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. On the sale day, you have to log in on the official website of the brand with your unique code between the time window to participate and get a chance to own a Royal Enfield Classic 500 Tribute Black. Speaking about the announcement, Mr Vinod Dasari, CEO of Royal Enfield said?, “Since 2009 the Royal Enfield 500cc motorcycles have proudly set the stage for the middle-weight motorcycling segment in India. The Classic 500, in particular, has garnered success for Royal Enfield across various international markets with its sublime retro-chic design and engaging ride experience. As we sign off the last of the Royal Enfield 500cc motorcycles, the Classic 500 Tribute Black is an opportunity for aficionados to own a piece of Royal Enfield and motorcycling history”. Mechanically, the bike continues to be powered by the same 499cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, fuel-injected BS4-compliant engine that generates a maximum power of 27.2HP @ 5,250 rpm along with peak torque of 41.3Nm @ 4,000 rpm. It comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox. In terms of design, the Classic 500 Tribute Black features an all-black livery and gets a unique ‘End of Build’ serial number that ensures that every motorcycle remains unique to its owner. Royal Enfield has not revealed the number of units that would go on sale neither did they revealed the price tag. We are expecting the Classic 500 Tribute Black edition to get around INR 10,000 to INR 15,000 premium over the standard model of the bike that was available for INR 2.04 lakh (ex-showroom).
