BS4 Royal Enfield Himalayan Has Zero Issues: Siddharth Lal

BS4 Royal Enfield Himalayan is perfectly fine and has zero issues on the fuel injected model. This statement comes right from the man behind this adventure machine, Siddhartha Lal. The chief executive officer of Royal Enfield is pretty confident about this product as his lines clearly shows the concern regarding every existing Himalayan owner.

He agreed on the fact that the earlier version was quite a failure when it came to user’s ease of mind but also mentioned that Royal Enfield is personally concerned about the satisfaction of every owner coming in for part replacement. Here are his lines showing how a big brand left all traditional ways of ignoring problems and solved everything in time.

BS4 Royal Enfield Himalayan Has Zero Issues: Siddharth Lal

“We are 100% focused on improving quality. Of course, we had early issues and failures on the Himalayan. Every single problem is being directly addressed with the customers. The new BS-IV product is absolutely fine, there are zero issues now. These have all been learning curves. I can say with confidence that we are on the improvement path.”

Royal Enfield Himalayan is powered by a 411 cc, single cylinder long stroke engine producing 24.5 BHP at 6500 rpm and 32 Nm at 4250 rpm. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The bike weighs 191 kg and effectively comes out to be the only product before Triumph Tiger series to have such high levels of off road ability.

Himalayan offers 220 mm of ground clearance, making it effective on all kinds of terrain with least chances of under-body damage. If something still makes a contact, the huge bash plate can save the underlying components effectively.

High suspension travel, 800 mm of seat height and 15 litre fuel tank makes a perfect combination while tackling tough roads. Royal Enfield Himalayan is presently priced at INR 1.84 lakh. They have even started the production of ABS variant in India but that will serve limited markets only.
