BS6 Royal Enfield Classic 350 S, the Classic 350’s single-channel ABS variant from the Chennai-based manufacturer has been finally listed on the brand’s official website. The motorcycle has already started reaching the dealerships while the price tag of the more affordable cruiser has also been revealed.
The customers can avail the RE Classic 350 S at an ex-showroom price tag of INR 1,57,097 while the brand has also listed both the Pure Black and Mercury Silver colour variants of the motorcycle on its official website. Apart from these two colours, Royal Enfield is also offering the BS6 model of the C350 S in Redditch Red, Classic Black, Chestnut, and Ash (White).
Coming to the major changes imparted to the next-gen S version, the motorcycle is now equipped with a BS6-compliant engine. The brand has equipped the motorcycle with an extra catalytic convertor that can be easily spotted in the official images while an additional oxygen sensor is also there. Apart from these, the BS6 variant of the motorcycle features almost similar styling when compared to its BS4 counterpart.
The 2D graphics seen on the BS4-compliant variant of the Classic 350 S have been retained by the brand while the blacked-out major body panels also remain the same. The brand has equipped the motorcycle with the same chrome exhaust system while the spoke wheels setup has also been retained.
Powering the BS6 Royal Enfield Classic 350 S is the BS6-compliant 346cc, single-cylinder, 4-stroke, air-cooled, fuel-injected engine that is capable of offering maximum power of 19.1 Bhp @ 5250 rpm and a peak torque of 28 Nm @ 4000 rpm. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The performance figures of the motorcycle remain similar to the ones offered by the BS6 Classic 350 with 2-channel ABS.
The braking department of the Classic 350 S is handled by a disc brake at the front while the rear has been equipped with a drum brake setup mated to a single-channel ABS as standard. The on-road price tag of the updated motorcycle variant now stands at INR 1,81,379 which includes INR 16,009 of RTO charges and INR 8,273 of insurance charges.
