The engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. As the Indian government has made ABS mandatory for motorcycles with displacement of 150cc and above, it is expected that Royal Enfield will launch more ABS-equipped motorcycles in coming days. The dead line for all manufacturers is April 1, 2019 and the brands have to equip their products with CBS or ABS depending upon the displacement of the product. At present, Royal Enfield is selling 18 motorcycles in India starting from the Bullet 350 Standard to the top-end Classic 500 Stealth Black edition with 2-channel ABS.
