Royal Enfield Showcases Customized Himalayan & Continental GT 650

Royal Enfield recently showcased three different custom models based on the Continental GT 650 and Himalayan at Bike Shed London. It is one of the UK’s biggest custom bike shows. The two models based on the GT650 are keeping the cafe racer profile alive while Himalayan has turned into an entirely different beach tracker.

The details regarding the engine were not shared for any of the examples while one can expect performance boost through the use of lightweight parts and custom exhaust systems with exciting muffler positions. The RE Himalayan now comes with an extra-wide rear tire with custom alloy wheel, USD front forks with a golden finish and four-piece headlight with a negligible windscreen.

The front and rear profile are now extremely different as the motorcycle has turned into a single seat product with painted frame and all-black engine area. The cafe racer options are painted in two different themes, with the first one showing bright paint with dual tone body finish.

The rear half is mostly single tone while the front comes with a shade of red and dark patches as the pattern. The motorcycle now features a wind-protection cowl and fairing can be seen flowing gently to the engine area. The retro-modern appeal is further compensated by the USD golden forks and spoke wheels.

The model comes with lowered clip-on handlebars for a sporty position and high levels of wind protection. The second Continental GT 650 is black-themed and available with additional disc brakes, massive dual exhausts on the one side and futuristic tail area with a unique design.

The front forks are finished in Black while the rear area seems empty due to the thin seat. The 648cc, twin cylinder engine on the motorcycle is good for 52 Nm of torque while Himalayan is using 411cc, single cylinder engine with 32 Nm of torque output.
