EIMOR Customs, the house of custom motorcycles in Hyderabad, has once again compelled the audience to offer a second look at their recently customized 2010 Royal Enfield Classic 500 motorcycle that has been tailored into a single seat bobber. The customizers have christened the custom motorcycle as Demont which symbolizes a strong and intelligent person cherished by everyone.
The owner of the motorcycle contacted the EIMOR Customs with a clear idea in his mind on what he wants his motorcycle to look like and what mechanical and cosmetic changes he needs them to impart to his loving machine. Though the owner is currently using his Triumph motorcycle as his travelling buddy, he didn’t want his old Classic 500 to be scrapped since there are so many memories associated with it.
Coming to the major customizations imparted to the stock motorcycle, it now features an all-new smaller headlight unit with LED DRLs integrated neatly inside it. In addition to this, the stock fuel tank has also been redesigned and the motorcycle now features a larger fuel tank unit with unique “Royal Enfield” monikers on either side. The overall blend of Royal Blue and Prussian Blue colour with a glossy finish complements the minimal chrome treatment as well as the all-black body panels offered to the motorcycle.
The Demont has been further equipped with a megaphone exhaust unit while the rear of the motorcycle has also been tweaked a bit and now features a redesigned tail light unit as well as indicators. The customizers have further offered the motorcycle with smaller round fenders while the bobber-inspired single seat with leather cladding adds to its surreal beauty.
The customizers have not tempered with the toolboxes on either side considering the air filter inside though both of them now features a neat off-white LED strip horizontally running across them.
Coming to the mechanical changes, the customizers have equipped the Demont with USD forks at the front while the rear suspension has been left unaltered and features a monoshock unit. Apart from this, the engine and other mechanical bits have been left undisturbed though servicing the parts have made the motorcycle offer optimum power delivery.
Powering the Demont is the same 499cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that is capable of generating maximum power of 27.2HP @ 5250 rpm and a peak torque of 41.3Nm @ 4000 rpm. The engine remains mated to a 5-speed gearbox.
