MY2021 Royal Enfield INT 650 Launched; Gets 5 New Colours

MY2021 Royal Enfield INT 650 Launched in India: Royal Enfield has officially launched the MY2021 of the Interceptor 650 in the Indian markets with a starting ex-showroom price tag of INR 2.75 lakhs while the price range goes all the way up to INR 2.97 lakhs for the chrome edition.

The brand has launched five new colours for the 2021 model of Interceptor 650: Canyon Red, Ventura Blue, Downtown Drag, Sunset Strip, and Mark 2 (Chrome Edition). In addition to these colours, the bike continues to be available in Orange Crush and Baker Express. In total, the MY2021 INT 650 is available in seven colour options.

With the launch of new shades, Royal Enfield has discontinued the Silver Spectre, Mark Three, and Ravishing Red colour options, while the Glitter and Dust (Chrome Edition) has been updated and is now known as Mark 2. Here is the colour-wise ex-showroom price list for the MY2021 Interceptor:

Powering the MY2021 Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 is the same 648cc parallel-twin, 4-stroke, fuel-injected engine that is capable of churning out a maximum power of 47HP @ 7150 rpm and a peak torque of 52Nm @ 5250 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox.

The motorcycle features a disc brake setup at either end while the suspension bits also remains the same, with telescopic forks at the front and dual shock absorbers at the rear end.

It was earlier rumoured that the 2021 model of Interceptor 650 would be getting an updated instrument console featuring ‘Tripper Navigation’ but for now, Royal Enfield has skipped the update and the motorcycle continues with the old instrument console.

The new colour options have already started reaching the dealerships while the deliveries are expected to commence in the coming weeks.
