New 350cc Royal Enfield in the Works; Official Launch by Diwali 2019

New 350cc Royal Enfield Motorcycle in the Works: The consistent drop in sales over the past few months has made all the automotive brands anxious to get their position back at the top. One such brand that has been subjected to a great loss in terms of sales is the Royal Enfield. According to the reports, the brand has scaled a whole 19% decline in sales for its FY 2018-2019 period as compared to the same time last year.

Concerned over the gradual decline in sales, the Royal Enfield officials are planning on introducing new motorcycle variants in the coming months, most probably in the 350cc segment. The new 350cc Royal Enfield is bound to be more affordable therefore being available to a wider range of audience and contributing towards more sales.

According to the sources, the new 350cc Royal Enfield would be the most affordable offering from the brand as of yet. The upcoming motorcycle will not be based on the next-gen platform and it is likely to get the existing Bullet platform. Presently, the kick start variant of the Royal Enfield Bullet is available at a price tag of INR 1.21 lakhs while the customer has to pay INR 1.35 lakhs for the electric start variant.

The new 350cc Royal Enfield motorcycle will be based on the Bullet 350 and it will be available with both kick start as well as electric start option. The cosmetic changes will include a simpler fuel tank badge while the all-black look of the upcoming motorcycle will be replacing the chrome detailing seen on the existing model of the Bullet 350.

The motorcycle will be offered the same spoke wheels with tube-type tyres to keep the costs under check. The brand might introduce new brighter colour schemes for their new affordable lineup which will be further made available to their 500cc counterparts as well.

To make a new impact in the market, the brand is likely to unveil its new 350cc Royal Enfield near the festive season around Diwali this year while one can expect the ex-showroom price tag to be around INR 1.10 lakh. Once launched, the initial price tag will make the new motorcycle to compete with the likes of Bajaj Pulsar NS200 and the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V.
