New Royal Enfield Classic 350 X Listed on the Official Website

Royal Enfield Classic 350’s single-channel ABS variant was launched in India back in September 2019 at a price tag of INR 1.45 lakh (ex-showroom). The new variant of the Classic 350 cruiser is one of the most affordable variants of the motorcycle that features a single-channel ABS as standard. Earlier known as the Classic 350 S, the brand has officially listed the new 350cc variant on its official website by the name Royal Enfield Classic 350 X, keeping the name identical with the Bullet X series.

At present, the motorcycle variant is only available to the customers in Tamil Nadu and Kerala. Some reports also suggest the brand to make the “X” variant available in other Indian cities in the next phase of launch.

The Royal Enfield Classic 350 X gets a price tag of INR 9,000 lesser than the standard Classic 350 variant, which is currently available in the market at a price tag of INR 1.54 lakh (ex-showroom). The brand is offering the single-channel ABS variant of the Classic 350 in Pure Black and Mercury Silver colours.

Coming to the major changes, the “X” variant of the motorcycle features blackened out components in addition to getting a redesigned fuel tank. The 3D emblem equipped on the dual-channel Classic 350 has been replaced with a 2D design for the Royal Enfield Classic 350 X variant while the tank pads have also been given a miss.

Apart from a few cosmetic changes, the engine specifications remain mechanically unaltered. Powering the motorcycle is the same 346cc BS4-compliant single-cylinder air-cooled engine that is capable of churning out a maximum power of 19.8 Bhp @ 5,250 rpm and a peak torque of 28 Nm @ 4,000 rpm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed transmission.
