Meet Royal Enfield SG 650 Bobber Motorcycle – Official Photos

Royal Enfield officially revealed the much-awaited 650cc bobber concept bike at the EICMA 2021 motorcycle show back in November 2021. The Royal Enfield SG650 concept represents a transitional period for the brand, symbolising the old-school analogue era while being incorporated into the digital present. The concept project pays respect to Royal Enfield’s rich tradition of bespoke bikes, yet it is not bound by the past. Here is the mega photo gallery of the Royal Enfield SG 650 (ShotGun 650):

As per the brand, the concept motorcycle is a perfect blend of the company’s traditional style and what their bikes will look like in the future. Although it is still considered a concept by the brand, it appears to be extremely amazing. Its brushed aluminium surface and blacked-out body components scream for attention. It has a round-shaped LED headlight arrangement up front, flanked by LED indicators on both ends.

Furthermore, the headlight cowl is somewhat hefty, lending it a muscular appearance when viewed from the front. The bulky fuel tank adds to the brutish appearance, but the RE logo painted in blue gives it a more contemporary appearance. For a clean aesthetic, we also get to witness blacked-out peashooter exhausts and bob-cut fenders. The concept bike also has solid wheels inspired by the Harley-Davidson Fat Boy. However, the production version may not have them.

While the bodywork of the SG 650 is entirely concept, the frame, USD fork, rear shock absorbers, footpegs, and switchgear appear to be production specifications. These might make an appearance on the upcoming Royal Enfield 650cc cruiser. Several test mules that have been seen in the past appear to be using comparable equipment. The production version of the SG 650 concept will be powered by the same 650cc parallel-twin engine that propels the Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650. The engine generates 47 BHP and 52 Nm of torque.
