According to recent reports, the Royal Enfield Bullet Trials 350 has been discontinued in the Indian market after a year of its initial launch. The motorcycle has been removed from the brand’s official website while it is also not available at the dealerships across the country.
Though the brand has not yet officially commented on the discontinuation of the Royal Enfield Bullet Trials 350, one can easily recognise the reason behind it to be the low sales.
The Chennai-based manufacturer has been witnessing negligible sales for the Trials 350 considering that the customers are not a fan of its loud paint scheme, scrambler styling as well as the single-seat setup that sets it apart from the standard RE Bullet 350, which has a cult following in the Indian market.
Apart from this, the motorcycle has not been updated to the BS6 emission norms which will be mandatory in the country in a few days. The brand has recently updated the standard RE Bullet 350 with a BS6-compliant engine which was not offered to the Bullet Trials 350 thus lowering its sales further.
Since the brand has already discontinued its 500cc range under its portfolio, the Bullet Trials 500 has also been discontinued considering the low sales number.
As per the latest buzz, Royal Enfield has officially cleared out its BS4 stock in the Indian market while its BS6 products have officially started seeing the light of the day since the past few months. The BS6 RE Classic and Bullet have been officially launched in the Indian markets, though the BS6 Thunderbird 350 and 350X will follow soon. In addition to this, the brand is also expected to offer its new range of products in the coming months in India, patents for which have already been filed.
