Himalayan Sleet Now Available at Royal Enfield Dealerships for INR 1.72 Lakh

RE Himalayan Sleet is now available as third paint option in their lineup. They have priced this one at INR 1.72 lakh, charging around INR 3000 for this camouflaged paint finish. Buyers will not be offered those solid luggage bags as standard.

Explorer kit is now priced at INR 31,900 while one can even go for select accessories for Himalayan Sleet. First 500 units of Sleet were offered online and came with bundled accessory kit for a lower price than present generation bike. Those looking for plain shades can still choose Granite (Black) or Snow (White) shade.

Himalayan is powered by a 411cc, oil cooled and fuel injected engine producing 24.5 BHP at 6,500 rpm and 32 Nm at 4,250 rpm. The engine comes mated to five speed gearbox. Front braking is handled by 300mm single disc while rear gets 240mm disc with ABS missing at both ends.

Royal Enfield will soon offer dual channel ABS on their adventure motorcycle while all others are expected to get single front channel unit for effective cost cutting. The bike range of RE falls between INR 1.17-1.99 lakh. Apart from Himalayan, they use 346cc and 499cc engines.
