The upcoming Royal Enfield Hunter 350 has been in the news for a long time and has been spotted plenty of times while testing. It is supposed to be launched officially in the Indian two-wheeler market in the month of July this year. Royal Enfiled is likely to offer the new Hunter 350 as a reasonable bike that could be priced between Rs 1.30 and Rs 1.40 lakh (ex-showroom).
As far as the all-new Royal Enfiled Hunter 350’s build and mechanics are concerned, it is believed to be built on the same ‘J’ series platform as the newest Classic 350 and Meteor 350. The Hunter’s suspension arrangement, on the other hand, is expected to be tweaked to fit its sporty mien. The latest information also implies that the Hunter will be fitted with 17-inch alloy wheels rather than the 18-inch jobbies previously speculated.
As we saw in the test mules of the forthcoming Hunter 350 and also revealed by the pre-production prototype images, the motorcycle gets a retro styling with a touch of modern elements. Its round headlamp, single-piece saddle, teardrop-shaped fuel tank, and rear view mirrors add to its retro appeal.
The bike is likely to be powered by the same 349cc single-cylinder engine as the Meteor 350 and Classic 350. It is also projected to deliver the same 20.4PS and 27NM output statistics as its brethren. We anticipate that it will receive the Meteor 350’s state of tune, which is slightly sportier than the Classic 350.
