According to a recent report, the Royal Enfield 650 Twins are all-set to get a price hike in India on September 1, 2019. Both the motorcycles will reportedly get expensive by around INR 5,000-6,000. The Interceptor 650 is currently being retailed in the market at a starting price tag of INR 2.50 lakh whereas the Continental GT 650 starts at INR 2.65 lakh. The prices mentioned here are ex-showroom Delhi.

After the price hike, the Interceptor 650 will get a starting price tag of INR 2.55 lakh and the Continental GT 650 will be priced at INR 2.71 lakh for the standard model. The Royal Enfield 650 Twins have continued to earn applause from the Indian customers for being one of the most affordable motorbikes in the 650cc segment. Other updates from the brand state that the company has started testing the BS-VI compliant models of the 650 Twins and recently the BS6 variant of the Continental GT 650 was spotted testing in India for the first time.
