Royal Enfield Alloy Wheels Officially Launched in India @ INR 10,000

Royal Enfield has officially launched alloy wheels as an optional accessory for its Classic as well as the Thunderbird series. The customers can now buy the Royal Enfield alloy wheels at a price tag of INR 10,000 at any of the brand’s dealership across the country. The 9-spoke alloy wheel design is identical to the one offered on the Thunderbird X series exhibiting black chrome finish with perfect detailing.

Royal Enfield Alloy Wheels Officially Launched @ INR 10,000

The alloy wheels can be installed on the Classic 350, Classic 500 as well as on the Thunderbird 350 and 500. The wheels measure 19-inches at the front and 18-inches at the rear. The all-new accessory makes way for tubeless tyres which are by far more convenient in comparison to the tube-type tyres when it comes to punctures.

The brand doesn’t offer tubeless tyres with spoke wheels on any of their motorcycles making this move one of the smartest as of yet considering alloy wheels offer a better ownership experience. Royal Enfield alloy wheels come with a two-year warranty while requires a fitting time of 105 minutes.

Royal Enfield Alloy Wheels

Being one of the most modified bikes in India, Royal Enfield enthusiasts always go for an aftermarket, low-quality alloy wheels which gradually tempers with the durability of the tyres as well as the safety of the riders. In addition to the alloy wheels, the brand also offers a host of other accessories such as mirrors, windscreens, luggage bags, seat equipment and more. The Royal Enfield Twins are also expected to get alloy wheels as an official accessory, though there hasn’t been any confirmation on the same.

This is what Royal Enfield has to say about the official alloy wheels: “Add a bit of style to your motorcycle with Royal Enfield branded cast alloy wheels. The black painted 9-spoke wheels have been machined cut for a detailed look. Your original tyres, tubes and brakes seamlessly integrate with the alloys. You also have an option to switch to tubeless tyres. TUV certified with a 2-year warranty.”
