A few days back, a Royal Enfield motorcycle was spotted testing with a red number plate in Tamil Nadu. It was rumoured to be known as Classic Scrambler 500. But as per the latest report by GaadiWaadi, the new motorcycle will be sold as Bullet Trials and the official launch will happen in March 2019. The good news is that the Trials series will also be available with a 350cc engine. The motorcycles will be sold as Trials 350 and Trials 500. Both the models will come with 2-channel ABS as standard.
The handlebar position on the Bullet Trials seems highly rider-friendly with wide grips and a raised bar. The tyres at both ends are dual purpose units with a decent amount of width. The rear section is seen with a raised exhaust, more or less similar to the stock unit in design but placed much higher for safe all-terrain riding.
The rear luggage holder may support the pillion seat hooks for easy seat mounting. Riders using Bullet have already climbed record heights with a stock ground clearance of 135mm and imagining the Bullet Trials going further heights won’t be wrong at all. The Bullet Trials 350 is expected to get a price tag of around INR 1.70 lakh and the Trials 500 is expected to be priced around INR 2.15 lakh (ex-showroom).
