Royal Enfield introduced the Bullet Trials 350 and Trials 500 in March 2019 considering the downfall in overall sales for the brand when compared to the last year. The Trials 350 was introduced at a price tag of INR 1.62 lakh while the Trials 500 got a price tag of INR 2.07 lakh. The prices mentioned here are ex-showroom Delhi.
The brand offered a host of cosmetic changes to the motorcycles though the powertrain has been kept the same. Powering the Royal Enfield Bullet Trials 350 is a 346cc engine capable of churning out a maximum power of 19.8 Bhp and a peak torque of 28 Nm. On the other hand, the Trials 500 is powered by 499cc engine good for 27.2 Bhp of maximum power and 41.3 Nm of peak torque.
Coming to the design language, the Bullet Trials series features an upswept exhaust system in addition to shorter fenders. The handlebar has been offered a higher-set position while the brand has equipped the motorcycles with a 19-inch front tyre and an 18-inch rear tyre.
As per one of the recent updates, to make the Bullet Trials appeal to the customers, some of the Royal Enfield dealerships across India have converted them into regular RE Classic series. The motorcycles now feature a regular exhaust system while featuring a split seat setup and a pillion grab rail.
Apart from these changes, the rest of the authentic detailing in the Trials Work Replica series has been kept intact. In addition to this, the brand has been targeting to increase its sales numbers with the recent introduction of Bullet X series with a starting price tag of INR 1.12 lakh (ex-showroom).
