More Affordable Royal Enfield Classic 350 Single Seat Goes on Sale

According to recent reports, the new model of the Royal Enfield Classic 350 Single Seat variant has officially gone on sale. The most affordable version of the 350cc Classic series, the motorcycle is now available in the country in two colour variants namely Mercury Silver and Pure Black, while the customers can avail them at a price tag of INR 1.45 lakh (ex-showroom).

The motorcycle variant is INR 8000 cheaper than the Classic 350 dual-channel ABS variant that is currently available in the market at a price tag of 1.53 lakh (ex-showroom). The brand has launched the Royal Enfield Classic 350 Single Seat model under its “Make Your Own” initiative that allows customers to customize their bikes straight out of the factory thus avoiding the aftermarket installations which further temper with the warranty and other service issues.

The customers can avail the factory-fitted accessories for their Classic 350 at the time of purchase itself while the brand ensures their genuineness as per the RTO norms. The brand is further allowing the customers to customize their motorcycle with various seat designs, alloy wheel designs as well as a different set of decals for the fuel tank as well as multiple options for panniers customizations. The customizations with additional accessories are being provided to the customers with an additional warranty of two years.

Apart from the addition of a single-seat saddle, the Royal Enfield Classic 350 Single Seat variant remains mechanically unaltered. Powering the motorcycle is the same 346cc BS4 single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that is capable to generate a maximum power of 19.8HP @ 5,250 rpm and a peak torque of 28Nm @ 4,000 rpm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox.

The motorcycle features single-channel ABS mated to a disc brake at the front end and a drum brake at the rear end. The Classic 350 Single Seat variant further competes in the market with the likes of Jawa Perak Bobber that has been launched recently. The brand has not yet listed the new colour variants of the motorcycle for customization directly from the website though, the customers can get the additional accessories installed at the dealerships itself.
