Meet Dark-Themed Royal Enfield Classic MLG1901

Royal Enfield Classic 350 is undoubtedly the most impressive motorcycle ever built by the company. No other product ever achieved such high sales figures, resulting in Classic 350’s promotion to Royal Enfield’s best-selling machine by dethroning the Bullet 350. DS Design recently worked on a Classic 350 and came out with this impressive dark-themed MLG1901 machine that features blue highlights all over its body. The combination of low-gloss shades along with an accessory-loaded body makes this modified motorcycle a unique option among millions of stock Classic 350s.

DS Design has painted the frame in the black shade while highlighting its unique body features through two parallel blue stripes. One can notice a clean curve in the overall design with blue stripes flowing all the way down to the rear fender. The pillion seat has been removed to give the motorcycle a retro-modern bobber look.

The customizers have even wrapped the seat in premium brown and black leather to achieve further detail in styling. An eye-catching custom font has been used to place the ‘Royal Enfield’ logo on both sides of the fuel tank. The stock handlebar has also been replaced with a high-placed, extra-wide touring unit while the bar-end mirrors further add a premium feel to this Classic 350.

The stock halogen headlight of the Classic 350 has been replaced with a custom LED unit that fits nicely into the blue headlight panel. The engine on the motorcycle has been painted in the matte black shade to achieve an all-black look in the lower half.

Apart from these changes, one can spot a very neat-looking MLG1901 sticker on the left side while the modifiers have equipped the motorcycle with a dual can exhaust system, multiple spoke alloy wheels and a single bar leg protector. In MLG1901, MLG stands for ‘Made Like a Gun’ while 1901 signifies that Royal Enfield introduced its first motorcycle in the year 1901.

The stock model of the Royal Enfield Classic 350 is powered by a 346cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that is good for producing 19.1HP of maximum power @ 5250 rpm and 28Nm of peak torque @ just 4000 rpm. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox while the motorcycle is equipped with front and rear disc brakes for better braking power in comparison to the Bullet 350 (Standard), which comes with a front disc and rear drum brake setup.
