Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 Features Harley-Style Tail Light

It’s no secret that Royal Enfield is working on a number of new offerings for the Indian market, and the new Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 and Royal Enfield Meteor 650 will be available soon. Both bikes’ test mules were recently spotted testing in India, revealing many significant details, including the new styling.

New Himalayan 450 will have more muscular and aggressive styling when compared to other Royal Enfield bikes and the current Himalayan iteration. Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 will have a strong road presence and high ground clearance, more rounded styling elements, including a more subtle front fascia.

A new fuel tank design, a single-piece saddle, a compact exhaust, and a longer front beak are also included. It also has integrated LED tail lamps and indicators, which are similar to those found on many Harley-Davidson motorcycles. Other notable retro additions to this design include round headlamps, a round rearview mirror, and wire-spoke wheels

In addition to styling changes, Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 is expected to receive a new 450cc engine. This engine is expected to produce around 40 bhp and a maximum peak torque output of 45 to 48 Nm. It could be paired with a six-speed manual transmission, or it could be paired with a five-speed manual transmission. Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 will have powerful capabilities along with a pleasant cruising experience.

In terms of features, the new Himalayan 450 is expected to include a semi-digital instrument console, tipper navigation, and other standard features such as electric start, side stand engine cut-off switch, and so on. The new Himalayan 450 is expected to be released in India in early 2023, with a starting price of around Rs 3 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The motorcycle’s launch date has yet to be announced by Royal Enfield, but it was teased by Sid Lal a few days ago.
