Royal Enfield Himalayan To Get 2 New ColorsDune Brown & Glacial Blue

The Royal Enfield Himalayan, one of the brand’s most popular bikes in the country, is going to witness a prominent update. The homegrown two-wheeler maker is already offering the Himalayan bike with six vibrant shades and is now gearing up to add two new colour options to its paint scheme. These upcoming shades are Glacial Blue and Dune Brown, and they may be introduced officially in the coming days.

Elaborating on the new colour options, the Glacial Blue shade is a blend of matte and gloss blue. This colour option was already offered on the Classic 350 and Classic 500 motorcycles. It is a single-colour offering without any patterns, as opposed to the other shade with patterns. This mono-colour hue is applied to the front beak, fuel tank, and side body panels.

While the Dune Brown shades get patches similar to the pine green shade offered already for the Royal Enfield Himalayan bike. The front and back fenders, as well as the frames on each side of the fuel tank, are finished in this colour. Both of these new colours are inspired by the severe but gorgeous characteristics of nature.

These new colours were unveiled at the 2022 Royal Enfield Himalayan Odyssey, which commenced in Delhi a few days back. However, the new colour’s cost is expected to be the same as the previous options. The Glacial Blue is estimated to cost Rs 2.14 lakh, while the Dune Brown will cost Rs 2.22 lakh ex-showroom.

At the heart, it is driven by the same 411cc single-cylinder engine that produces 24.3bhp and 32Nm of torque. Standard features include a semi-digital instrument cluster with Tripper navigation and dual-channel ABS. Speaking of the competition, the Royal Enfield Himalayan only rivals the Hero Xpulse 200 4V in this price segment.
