Comparing the new Royal Enfield Hunter with the recently-launched Meteor 350, the former features a lower-slung profile while getting a single flat seat as opposed to the split-seat setup offered to the Meteor cruiser motorcycle.

Apart from this, the upcoming Royal Enfield motorcycle also features a tweaked tail light setup which has been positioned a bit higher. Comparing the fuel tank design with that of the Meteor, the new motorcycle features an oval design when compared to the round unit offered on the former.

In addition to this, the turn indicators on the new bike have also been positioned a bit higher. The side panels on the new Royal Enfield Hunter feature a triangular look as opposed to the elongated outlook on the Meteor 350.

Hunter 350 features a small side-mounted exhaust system which is a very first for a Royal Enfield motorcycle. In terms of electronics, the upcoming bike features a single-pod instrument cluster which is further expected to come with Bluetooth connectivity and Tripper Navigation.

Since the new 350cc Royal Enfield bike features many designing traits different from the Classic series, one can expect it to be an all-new motorcycle range from the brand that will directly rival the Jawa Forty Two in the Indian markets.

Mechanically, the Royal Enfield Hunter is expected to be powered by Meteor’s 349cc, 4-stroke, single-cylinder, air/oil-cooled, BS6-compliant engine, which is good for a maximum power of 20.2 Bhp at 6100 rpm and a peak torque of 27 Nm at 4000 rpm. The engine will come mated to a 5-speed transmission.
