The Modification Cost Of This Royal Enfield Motorcycle is Rs 16 Lakhs!

The 2019 Royal Enfield Rider Mania in Goa witnessed a host of splendid motorcycle modifications but one such modified bike that has caught our attention is entirely something else. Known as Neelkantha 650, the motorcycle has been modified by TNT Motorcycles, Delhi. The modifiers have converted a Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 into a breathtaking bagger motorcycle. The customization is something like never seen before and costs a total of INR 16 lakhs!

The overall profile of the motorcycle has been kept authentic to the bagger styling with multiple saddlebags, a large front wheel as well as a striking blue colour that portrays the modifiers as perfectionists. The bright colour of the body panels adds to the motorcycle’s entire appeal while the addition of a front cowl with a rectangular headlamp sets it apart from the stock variant of the Interceptor 650.

The modifiers have equipped the Neelkantha with a 23-inch custom alloy wheel setup at the front while the use of a large cowl gives it a Harley-inspired premium motorcycle appeal. The handlebar unit of the stock model of the motorcycle has also been replaced with Custom bent SS ape handlebars which are mated to aluminium handgrips.

In addition to this, the front suspension has also been revised and now features an aluminium girder. The motorcycle has also been equipped with a custom-made footboard at the front which features “RE 650 Twins” carved in silver and gets an RE factory finish. The fuel tank of the stock Interceptor has been kept intact while features a blue shade with chrome tank pads. The side panels of the motorcycle also feature “Neelkantha” written on them.

Completing the overall bagger motorcycle look is the addition of two huge side panniers which features holes for letting the exhaust out. Apart from the cosmetic changes, the engine specifications of the motorcycle remain unaltered. Powering the Neelkantha is the same 647cc, fuel-injected engine that is capable of generating maximum power of 47HP and a peak torque of 52Nm. According to TNT motorcycles, this full-fledged bagger modification has been completed in a total of 3 months.
