A Royal Enfield Himalayan owner Dhruv Chauhan started an online petition and it was soon signed by 775 Himalayan owners. It was done in order to bring the brand’s concern toward the problems being faced by various owners. Royal Enfield has finally took the issue very seriously and the brand has promised to get all the problems solved in coming days. Dhruv was introduced to Mr. Pravin Dusane and all of the problems were solved. According to Dhruv: “I got my bike rectified yesterday and you have to trust me to believe it that the bike is super smooth now.”
Royal Enfield Pledges to Solve the Problems Related to Himalayan
This happened as Mr Dusane took the responsibility to deal with every Himalayan owner and the problem being faced due to some defects. The modified parts are now widely available and can be used to get away from all the below mentioned errors. Owners can mail their problems to psdusane@royalenfield.com directly and ask for the best possible way to solve their respective problem.
Himalayan was made for adventure lovers but has disappointed many in terms. Problems ranging from blocked fuel pipe, fuel tank chipping, gearbox failures, rusting, dis-assembly of front forks and even the bike pulling to one side has been faced by many riders. The crack in one of the chassis of the Himalayan was even the most doubtful thing among other shocking problems.
Royal Enfield’s top management has generated a long list of changes that are to be made to every Himalayan, once it comes to the service center for regular checkups. They want the guys at every dealership to replace the clutch, inspect and replace (if required) T-stem, replace magneto coil, check for valve rubbing noise and replace if required, check tyre crack complaints and listen to the customer feedback attentively. They have even warned that if things get bad at dealer level, they will take the issue seriously.
