Royal Enfield Sales Report (January 2018): Royal Enfield recently posted 31% YoY growth for January 2018 sales. They sold 76,205 units and posted impressive exports at 1673 units, taking the total sales to 77,878 Motorcycles last month. Himalayan Sleet was recently introduced for die hard touring fans.
The brand successfully took fifth position away from Yamaha India last year. It is yet to be seen if Yamaha could recover from this in Q1 2018. Classic 350 is the highest selling RE motorcycle of all time. It accounts to almost 60% in terms of overall number in most months.
Royal Enfield bikes are unique in themselves as no other brand offers such retro modern setup for a price that RE offers. UM Renegade series comes as the closest competition but due to high pricing, they even could not break the sales charm of Royal Enfield.
Sales are constantly growing with more products on offer now than ever. Most conventional products are now more colorful and even offer bigger engine, better brakes and much more than before.
The recent launch of Gunmetal Grey in Classic 350 and Stealth Black in Classic 500 received much more love from Royal Enfield fans than the brand expected. You can see RE fans talking about the all Black version for its exclusive look and paint finish.
