Royal Enfield is one of the top 10 best selling motorcycle brands in India that has seen a gradual downfall in sales in July 2019 when compared to the same month last year. The brand has witnessed a decrease in the sales number though several new initiatives might bring out different results in the next year.
Royal Enfield recently launched the most affordable Bullet X series in India. The all-new series is bound to take sales to the next level considering the most cherished Indian brand is not in the reach of the majority of customers across the country.
Once again bagging the first spot in terms of maximum sales, Classic 350 has been able to witness a total sales of 29,439 units in July 2019 though the total sales have seen a decline by 33% when compared to the same month last year. The recently launched RE 650 Twins have witnessed a total sales of 2,225 units, giving a push to the sales in the year 2019.
The Royal Enfield Himalayan, on the other hand, has been able to witness a 100% increase in the sales by recording a total of 1,619 units in July 2019 as compared to the 811 units registered in the same month last year.
Apart from the Royal Enfield Himalayan, every motorcycle in the Royal Enfield portfolio has witnessed a decrease in sales when compared to July 2018. The brand is expecting to look forward to better sales in the coming months since the Bullet X series have gathered quite an audience support while the BS6-compliant models will also be added to the list shortly.
