Staying true to its promise to unveil a custom motorcycle at the EICMA 2019, Royal Enfield has officially revealed the Twin FT 750 at the auto show. Based on the RE 650 Twins, the all-new Flat Tracker has been specifically designed in association with Harris Performance, UK. Though rather uncertain, if the brand plans on bringing the custom project into reality, the flat tracker can help it compete in the US racing market that is currently being dominated by Harley-Davidson.
Based on a brazed steel tube chassis, the design language of the motorcycle complements the old school charm offered to it. With an adjustable swingarm as well as the steering angle and yokes, the motorcycle can be brought to utmost stability while riding.
Coming to the other custom motorcycle components, the Harris Performance has equipped the Royal Enfield Twin FT 750 with 41mm USD forks from Ohlins at the front while the rear has been equipped with high-end Ohlins TTX36 monoshock suspension. Adding to the aesthetics are the 19-inch RSD traction rims, equipped at either side of the custom-made motorcycle.
The braking duties on the motorcycle have been kept authentic with a single disc brake with Brembo callipers at the rear while the front disc brake has been given a miss. The 647cc, twin-cylinder, air-cooled engine borrowed from the 650 twins powers the Twin FT though the brand has offered the motorcycle with a 750cc bore kit which adds to its unique racing capabilities.
The carbon fibre detailing adds to its premium stance while the brand has equipped the custom motorcycle with an S&S exhaust system. Though the brand has not yet disclosed its plans to bring out the road-inspired variant of the Royal Enfield Twin FT 750, one can expect it to be a huge hit if and when launched in India.
