Royal Enfield, the country’s biggest motorcycle brand, has added another feather to its cap by becoming the Guinness World Record holder for having the largest live audience during the premiere broadcast of the all-new Classic 350 on YouTube. During the debut of Classic 350 on September 1st, between 11:30 AM and 12 Noon, 19,564 viewers watched the event, breaking the previous record of 13,779 viewers. While the collective viewing was in lakhs, the Guinness world record certified the contemporaneous viewership as the highest figure.
Royal Enfield aspires to provide one-of-a-kind and emotive experiences that will inspire the riding community to pursue a motorcycle lifestyle. The Guinness World Record achievement reflects this community’s shared love and enthusiasm for the brand, as thousands of riders, auto enthusiasts, and brand lovers came together to celebrate the all-new Classic 350 at the digital debut.
The Classic has become extremely popular, fuelling a leisure riding culture and revolutionising the middleweight motorcycle sector in India. The new Classic 350 continues the heritage of authentic post-war era British motorbikes by emulating the Classic’s classic design language while responding to the demands of current riders. It sports a J-series BS-VI compliant, 349cc, single-cylinder, 4-stroke engine that has been greatly improved, as well as an entirely new chassis.
The new Classic 350’s design is basically identical to that of its predecessors, with design characteristics such as a round headlight, a circle shape for the rear-view mirrors, a curved fuel tank, a split-style seat, and a side-slung exhaust. However, there are minor changes to the features, such as the multi-reflector headlight that provides enhanced lighting for illuminated night rides, the alphanumeric design of the teardrop fuel tank, the strengthened grab rail for the pillion rider, and a USB charging slot.
