Service Manual of 650cc Royal Enfield Twins Leaked Ahead of Launch

Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650 are already listed on the official website but, the recently leaked service manual photos has brought more details for the 650cc twins. The leaked images confirm that both bikes are almost ready for the Indian launch. According to the paper, both bikes measure 2122mm in length, have 174mm of ground clearance and comes with 804mm of practical seat height. The differences in width and height are applicable because of different handlebar and mirror position. The two-seat variant weighs 202kg while cafe racer claims 198kg of total weight. The figure does not include the fuel weight.

These images are from a service training manual, confirming the fact that Royal Enfield is finally training the employees to handle their twin-cylinder machines in the most efficient possible manner. A wheelbase of 1400mm means impressive highway riding capability. The front suspension measures 41mm in diameter, offering 110mm of decent travel. The rear one, on the other hand, is available with 87.5mm of travel through dual coil over shocks. The 18-inch rims are wrapped with 100/90 front and 130/70 rear tire, both of which are expected to be Pirelli units. RE twins are available with Bosch 9.1 ABS and dual disc brakes. Both motorcycles are expected to be priced around INR 3.25 lakh (ex-showroom), and the bookings will officially open in India from the 1st week of November this year.
