Salman Khan Launches Being Human Electric Cycle @ INR 40,000

Being Human E-Cycle was recently launched in India from INR 40,000. The range goes up to INR 57,000 and this comes out as the first ever electric cycle from Salman Khan’s Being Human foundation.

Salman Khan himself cycled to the event at Mehboob Studios and unveiled the product in two different variants, The base BH12 can be bought for INR 40,000 while the top spec BH27 costs INR 57,000. These can currently be bought in Mumbai while next step would include nationwide availability.

These two cycles are available in White, Yellow, Red and Black while new models are underway and would soon get added to this lineup of nature friendly cycles. After one and a half year of testing, these were launched to help city commuters enjoy cycling with peace of mind.

E-Cycle has a top speed of 25 kmph and can go for 30 kilometers once fully charged. This can help a rider change plans easily as not everyone loves peddling around all time and may consider returning without using much energy.

Commenting on the launch, Atul Gupta, CEO, Being Human E-Cycles, said, “Being Human E-Cycles are designed to be user-friendly and easy to manage on Indian roads. One of the main differentiators of the e-cycles is that they are likely to need less maintenance as they have fewer moving parts than conventional bicycles. With a maximum speed of 25 Km/hr, the Being Human E-Cycle, as certified by ARAI, is exempt from various regulations, and does not require a license or registration to operate.”
