Gixxer with rear disc can now be bought in two single tone shades (Metallic Triton Blue, Glass Sparkle Black) and one dual tone shade (Pearl Mira Red/Glass Sparkle Black). The new Gixxer series now uses new graphics for even better overall feel. 2017 Gixxer SF and its fuel injected variant share two shades in common (Metallic Triton Blue, Glass Sparkle Black/Metallic Matt Black). Pearl Mira Red stays exclusive to the Gixxer SF carburetor version.

The earlier Gixxer series was powered by 154.9 cc, single cylinder engine that is good for 14.6 BHP and 14 Nm of torque. The engine will definitely use a 5-speed gearbox for the 2017 version while the power values can get a slight change due to the upgrades. The availability of shades in different variants will now see a considerable change as most of the changes may have been made after reviewing the customer feedback at Suzuki dealerships.
