2018 Suzuki Gixxer and Gixxer SF has been launched in India for INR 80,928 and INR 90,037 respectively. Powertrain and components remain exactly the same as earlier generation models while once can spot numerous changes in terms of shades and decal placement.
Buyers can now get Candy Sonoma Red/Metallic Sonic Silver shade on both the body types. Apart from new graphics, the motorcycle is offered with matching pinstripes and Ecstar logo on the faired version (Gixxer SF Moto GP variant).
Suzuki Gixxer is powered by a 154.9cc, single cylinder engine producing 14.6 BHP and 14 Nm of torque. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox. Suzuki offers street fighter version with single front and rear disc option while Gixxer SF comes with standard rear disc and options between Fi and single channel ABS.
Both these bikes rival Yamaha FZS Fi Version 2.0, Fazer Fi, TVS Apache RTR 160, Hero Xtreme Sports, Honda CB Hornet 160R and Bajaj Pulsar NS160 in its segment.
