Suzuki has launched a new addition to their small segment motorcycles by the name DR-Z50. The all-new dirt bike has been specifically designed for targeting the younger audience. The motorcycle exhibits a motocross design with small 10-inch wheels. According to Suzuki, the 2019 DR-Z50 is the perfect new toy for introducing young riders to the world of motorcycling, boost up their confidence for better and responsible riding. With a kerb weight of 54 kgs, the new off-road bike gets a price tag of INR 2.55 Lakhs.

The DR-Z50 is powered by a 49cc, single-cylinder, four-stroke air-cooled engine. The dirt bike gets a three-speed transmission while features an automatic clutch for smoother functioning. With adjustable brake lever, the adult can supervise the rider according to their abilities to control the bike at different terrains.

The suspension duties are handled by upside down forks at the front while the rear gets an adjustable monoshock. The all-new small segment motorcycle gets drum brakes at both ends while the seat height of 560mm makes way for much more comfortable and adjustable ride for smaller riders. The bike gets an electric start with keyed ignition for better adult supervision at all time.

The 2019 Suzuki DR-Z50 gets a fuel tank capacity of 3 litres while the bright yellow graphics add on to its appeal. The ground clearance of 135mm is perfect for riders to handle the bike firmly on the roads. The DR-Z50 is available in the market in a single colour option: Suzuki’s Championship Yellow. The dirt bike will compete in the market with the likes of the KLX 110, Kawasaki’s dirt bike available at a price tag of INR 2.99 lakh with an engine capacity of 112cc.
