2020 Suzuki Gixxer 155 Spotted at a Dealership; Official Launch Soon

The 2020 Suzuki Gixxer 155 premium commuter motorcycle has started reaching the dealerships ahead of its official launch in India in the coming days. This time, the 155cc streetfighter has been spotted in metallic silver and metallic black colour options. It was earlier spotted in Suzuki blue shade at one of the authorised dealerships in India.

The upcoming motorcycle looks stunning in terms of design while the front section looks futuristic with a typical streetfighter feel and a unique silver casing for the headlight. The exhaust stays the same as the old-gen model, with the 2020 Suzuki Gixxer 155 getting split-type seats with extra padding to keep everyone happy for even longer than standard rides.

Powering the new model of the Suzuki Gixxer is a 155cc, air-cooled, fuel-injected engine, borrowed from its fully-faired sibling Gixxer SF, capable of churning out a maximum power of 14.1 HP at 8000 rpm and an utmost torque of 14 Nm at 6000 rpm. The engine will be mated to a 5-speed transmission. The braking duties will be handled by disc brakes at either end and the bike gets a single-channel ABS unit as standard for additional safety.

The 2020 Suzuki Gixxer 155 features telescopic forks at the front and gets a monoshock absorber at the rear. Once launched in India, the premium commuter bike is expected to get a price tag of around INR 95,000 while it would be competing in the market with the likes of Yamaha FZS, Honda CB Hornet 160R, and the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V.
