According to the recent reports, the 2020 Suzuki GSX-R150 will be available to the customers in four new colour schemes that have been recently revealed by the brand. The sports motorcycle has also been offered a MotoGP livery to commemorate the brand’s 100th anniversary while the new colours now add to its USP further.
The 2020 Suzuki GSX-R150 will be available in Yellow, Red, MotoGP Blue, and Black colour schemes in the international markets. The former three colour schemes feature a dual-tone finish while the black colour variant has been shod with a red alloy-wheel setup.
Coming to the design language, the 150cc motorcycle has been equipped with an LED headlight as well as an LED taillight. The brand has equipped the clip-on handlebar with a large visor at the front while the instrument console offered to the sports machine is a fully-digital unit. The Suzuki GSX-R150 further features a split-seat setup while the brand has offered it a keyless ignition system.
Powering the motorcycle is a 150cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that is capable of churning out a maximum power of 19.2 HP and a peak torque of 14 Nm. The braking duties on the fully-faired motorcycle are handled by disc brakes at either side mated to a dual-channel ABS from BOSCH. The motorcycle features telescopic forks at the front while the rear has been mated to a monoshock unit.
The Suzuki GSX-R150 won’t be launched in the Indian markets as the brand already offers the Gixxer SF 150 and the Gixxer SF 250 in India. Both the motorcycles are expected to get the new MotoGP livery later this year. The brand has recently updated the Gixxer series with BS6-compliant engines to meet the strict BS6 emission norms.
