The 2020 Suzuki GSX-R150 MotoGP Edition has been officially unveiled in Indonesia. The all-new sporty livery has been offered to the motorcycle from Suzuki MotoGP, the brand’s official factory team that is known across the world to offer MotoGP editions of the Suzuki motorcycles. The all-new GSX-R150 MotoGP Edition will cater to a wider range of audience looking for something out of the ordinary.
In addition to offering the latest MotoGP livery to the 2020 Suzuki GSX-R150, the brand has offered the same to the GSX-R125 as well. Coming to the new livery, the motorcycle variants now feature a dual-tone silver and blue colour scheme while the fairing has been equipped with Suzuki Ecstar branding.
The overall dual-tone livery is capable of offering a fresher appeal to the motorcycle while at the same time makes the 150cc sportbike look more sporty. Apart from the addition of new livery, the brand has retained all the cosmetic and mechanical bits of the motorcycle similar to the standard version.
To jog your memory, powering the Suzuki GSX-R150 is a 147.3cc, 4-stroke, DOHC, 4-valve engine that is capable of churning out a maximum power of 18.9HP @ 10,500 rpm and a peak torque of 14.0Nm @ 9,000 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The motorcycle features telescopic forks at the front while the rear has been mated to a monoshock unit.
In terms of availability in the Indian market, Suzuki won’t be launching the GSX-R150 in our country as the brand is already selling the 150cc Gixxxer SF sportbike in India. It has been recently updated with a BS6-compliant engine and is available at a price tag of INR 1.22 lakh (ex-showroom).
