2020 Suzuki Hayabusa Launched in India at INR 13,74,941

The 2020 Suzuki Hayabusa has been officially launched in India at INR 13,74,941 (ex-showroom, Gurugram). The popular sportbike is now available in two new colours namely ‘Candy Daring Red’ and ‘Metallic Thunder Gray’. The paint finish stays gloss like all other Hayabusa colour variants of 2019.

Apart from the new colours, everything stays identical on the motorcycle. It is powered by the same BS4-compliant 1340cc, four-cylinder engine, producing 200HP of maximum power and 155Nm of peak torque. The values are good enough to propel the 268kg motorcycle from a standstill to 100kph in just 3 seconds. The top speed is limited to 299kph on the stock version while the unrestricted versions can touch 312kph with ease. Hayabusa can reach the given restricted top speed in 25.4 seconds.

The brand has also retained the Suzuki Drive Mode Selector (S-DMS) for the 2020 variant that allows the rider to select any of the three engine maps available with the motorcycle, all offering different riding specifics. The recent reports suggest that Suzuki will be unveiling the prototype model of the 2021 variant of Hayabusa at EICMA in November 2020, which will further get a more powerful Euro6/BS6-compliant engine.
