New Suzuki Hayabusa Sold Out in India: According to a recent report by NDTV, the recently launched 2021 model of the Suzuki Hayabusa has been sold out in the country in a matter of just 2 days. As per the details available, 101 units of the superbike were allotted to India in the first batch and all of them have been sold out. Suzuki has already stopped accepting bookings for the new Hayabusa GSX1300R and it is being reported that India would be receiving the second batch in the second half of this year. The brand also said that it would be offering a complimentary rear seat cowl for the customers of all 101 units as the deliveries begin next month.
Mechanically, Suzuki has equipped the next-gen Hayabusa with the same 1340cc, 4-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine, which has been updated to meet the Euro5 emission norms, which are equivalent to the BS6 norms. Thanks to stricter emission norms, the new model generates less power and torque at 190 HP and 150 Nm respectively. In comparison, the last-gen model was good for 200 HP and 155 Nm. The engine remains mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
The 2021 Suzuki Hayabusa is an all-new model in terms of looks and features. It is the most-advanced Hayabusa ever and comes with a long list of electronic features like Suzuki Intelligent Ride System, Suzuki Drive Mode Selector, 6-Axis Bosch IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit), Power Mode Selector, Anti-lift Control System, Bi-directional Quick Shift System, Engine Brake Control System, Motion Track Traction Control System, Launch Control System, Emergency Stop Signal, Slope Dependent Control System, Active Speed Limiter, Motion Track Brake System, Hill Hold Control System, and Cruise Control.
