Production-Spec 2021 Suzuki Hayabusa Image Leaked: Suzuki Global recently released a teaser video of the next-gen model of Hayabusa sports tourer and made an announcement that the 2021 version of the motorcycle is all set to make its world debut on 5th February. Ahead of the official unveling, the production-spec model of the 2021 Hayabusa has leaked online.
As expected, Suzuki has retained the overall silhouette of its predecessor, although the new version looks sharper than ever. According to the details available, the next-gen model continues to feature dual exhausts with an all-new design, and the brand has also retained the analogue-digital instrument console but has updated the same with more features. Apart from that, the 2021 Suzuki Hayabusa features a new front fascia, more aerodynamic side panels, and an edgy rear cowl.
The reports suggest the 2021 variant of Suzuki Hayabusa to feature an upgraded and more powerful 1440cc, 4-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine which will replace the last-gen 1340cc engine. The higher displacement has been specifically offered to keep the overall performance under check as upgrading to meet newer emission norms tend to reduce the power and torque figures.
Since the 2021 Suzuki Hayabusa is expected to get an updated engine, one can expect the sportbike to feature a redesigned chassis that will further accommodate the new motor. We can safely assume the 2021 model to become lighter and faster in comparison to the last-gen model. As one can judge from the leaked image, the next-gen version features the iconic Hayabusa styling in addition to an improved version of the legendary multi-dial digital-analogue instrument console.
Once launched, the new model of Suzuki Hayabusa would be competing with the likes of Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14R, and the litre-class superbikes like Yamaha R1, Honda CBR1000RR-R, Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R, Ducati Panigale V4, and the BMW S1000RR.
