Complete Sales Report of Suzuki 2-Wheelers

Suzuki 2-Wheelers  India is one among the top gainers of Indian two-wheeler segment, registering 53,321 units in total sales in July 2018 and claiming the seventh overall position. After Suzuki, no other brand was able to breach the five-digit mark as the Piaggio group came next with just 6,388 units. Suzuki Access 125, available in a drum, disc, and CBS variant, scored 36,596 units in the 31-day period. The prices of all three variants feel genuine in front of rivals like Ntorq, Grazia and even Activa 125. Suzuki Burgman Street is the second best selling product with 10,674 units in July 2018.

2018 Suzuki Hayabusa

The feat was achieved in a few weeks of its launch, showing the interest of Indian fans in scooters that are cosmetically enhanced. Suzuki has a decent share in 150cc bikes with Gixxer and Intruder registering 4,235 and 967 units respectively. The latter has seen a huge drop in sales, most probably due to least amount of demand for cruiser except those from Royal Enfield. Suzuki Lets and Hayate are the least selling products, both priced at an entry-level point in comparison to Access and Gixxer series.

Suzuki Gixxer Series

Coming to superbikes, Hayabusa is the best-selling product with 23 units in the 31-day period. Suzuki GSX-S750 is seen losing traction with just 10 units in July 2018. The drop in sales for this variant is due to rising popularity of Triumph Street Triple in the country. Hayabusa has no direct rival as ZX-14R is priced at INR 6 lakh worth difference in India. The gap will soon be filled by Kawasaki by launching a locally assembled version for bigger sales number. Suzuki primarily rivals Yamaha bikes in India.
