Suzuki UK Launches Accessory Pack & Graphics Kit for GSX-R125

While India is still awaiting the launch of lightweight Suzuki GSX-R125, the Japanese superbike manufacturer has introduced a new accessory pack with graphics and physical changes to the already impressive motorcycle in the UK. Even if planned for India, the engine size may rise above the 125cc mark, christening this model as GSX-R150 in the country. It will use the Indonesian spec 150cc engine, rivaling none other than Yamaha R15 V3 and upcoming CBR150R through its fire-breathing attitude. The accessory pack for GSX-R125 offers double bubble visor, a rear seat cowl, color-coded pinstripes on the alloy wheels, and decals for front and side fairing.

GSX-R125The kit is specially designed for the black shade of this motorcycle, offering Red insert on the front fascia, GSX-R branding and Suzuki moniker on the side fairing. The stripe passes through the rear seat cowl and successfully merges with one seen on its side fairing. The price for this kit is £330 (INR 29,500 approx) in the UK, helping buyers save £160 from the official price tag of every accessory summed together. Also, the number includes the fitment charge by the official dealership. Suzuki has made no mechanical changes on the motorcycle, keeping the claimed 43.48 kmpl of mileage intact.

GSX-R125For enthusiasts who love the lightweight performance, Suzuki GSX-R125 weighs just 134 kg and claims 15HP of maximum power from its liquid cooled and fuel injected motor. For India, if ever launched, GSX-R150 will use a 147.3cc engine, producing 19HP of maximum power at 10,500 rpm. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The motorcycle features LED headlight, lightweight tail section and 11-liter fuel tank as standard. ABS stays optional in certain markets while Indian launch cannot take place without this important safety addition. One can expect the GSX-R150 to get INR 1.40 lakh worth price tag with ABS.
