Suzuki Burgman 125 Expected to be Priced @ INR 76,000 (On-Road)

All set to be launched in India on 19th July, the Suzuki Burgman 125 Street has started to reach the dealerships of the company. According to a recent report, the scooter will be priced close to INR 76,000 (on-road) and in this price, the cost of the helmet that Suzuki offers with the Burgman Street will also be included.

The scooter was first revealed in India at the Auto Expo this year, although it is sold internationally with multiple engine variants ranging from 125cc to 650cc. Features, such as the LED Headlamps, adjustable foot-pegs, and storage pockets, add to the practicality of the scooter and the additional storage pockets up on the front help to keep stuff handy.

The front of the scooter will also see a disc brake and the overall braking of the scooter will come with a Combi braking system for added safety. The option for a Combi braking system was introduced on the Suzuki Access 125 a few days ago, therefore, there is a possibility of the feature to be added to the Burgman Street as well. For the instrument cluster, Suzuki has decided to go with the same unit that we currently see on the Gixxer 155 twins.

The Burgman Street gets its power from the 125cc engine that we have already seen on the company’s Access 125. Since there is no testing unit out there, the power and torque levels can only be estimated. The maximum power output delivery will be close to 8.5 hp and the peak torque is expected to be around 10.2 Nm.

The customers will get a choice between two colours for the scooter, Black or White. The launch of the Burgman Street will make it the only maxi scooter to be on sale in India after the Kinetic Blaze, which has now been long discontinued due to its poor sales and high price. The Burgman Street will butt heads against the TVS Ntorq 125 and the Honda Grazia 125.
