The 2019 Suzuki Gixxer 155 is all set to be launched in India in the coming weeks. The official image of the upcoming bike has leaked ahead of the official launch, clearly representing the cosmetic changes received by the streetfighter. The all-muscular look of the motorcycle still prevails when it comes to the previous model though, the 2019 variant does get a distinguished appeal. Once launched in India, the premium commuter bike is expected to get a price tag of around INR 95,000 while it would be competing in the market with the likes of Yamaha FZS, Honda CB Hornet 160R, and the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V. The 2019 model of Suzuki Gixxer 155 features a sleek LED headlamp design that gives it a retro-modern look while the broad shoulder lines on the fuel tank give it a sharper stance. The orange-black instrument console on the last-gen model is expected to be replaced with a white-black instrument unit as seen on the 2019 Gixxer SF. The engine will be mated to a 5-speed transmission. The braking duties are handled by disc brakes at either end and the bike gets a single-channel ABS unit as standard for additional safety. The Suzuki Gixxer 155 features telescopic forks at the front and gets a monoshock absorber at the rear. After the launch of the new model of the 155cc Gixxer, the brand will also launch the streetfighter version of the 250cc Gixxer by the end of this year.
