Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 to be Reportedly Priced at INR 1.80 Lakh
According to a recent report by ZigWheels, the upcoming Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 sports bike will get an ex-showroom price tag of INR 1.80 lakh. The same report also states that select Suzuki dealerships have also started accepting bookings for the 250cc Gixxer SF with a token amount of INR 10,000.
If the leaked price tag of INR 1.80 lakh turns out to be true, then we must say that the motorcycle is slightly overpriced as per our expectations. The official launch is going to happen on May 20, and we are expecting the brand to price the Gixxer SF 250 at around INR 1.50 lakh (ex-showroom).
The complete technical specifications of the sports bike recently got leaked. Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 is powered by a single cylinder oil-cooled 249cc engine, which is good for 26.5 HP of maximum power at 9000 rpm, and 22.6 NM of maximum torque at 7500 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
The upcoming motorcycle will be equipped with a dual-channel ABS unit as standard. The bike is expected to get a modern and very informative all-digital instrument console. After the launch in India, the Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 would be competing with the likes of Honda CBR250R and the Yamaha Fazer 25. The KTM 250 Duke can also be counted as an indirect rival for the upcoming motorcycle. The Gixxer SF 250 will officially launch in India next week, and the brand will also launch the updated model of the 155cc Gixxer SF at the same launch event.
