Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 registered 1,526 units in May 2019, listing itself among the top five products that you can buy in the 250cc-500cc segment in India. The motorcycle costs INR 1.71 lakh (ex-showroom) and comes with a powerful 249cc motor to rival existing options like Yamaha Fazer 25 and the Honda CBR250R. The power output of 26.5 HP is good enough to compete with every quarter-litre full-faired motorcycle available in the country.
Suzuki is offering the motorcycle from their premium dealership network only while using oil-cooling instead of the liquid cooling technology has helped the brand cut costs by a considerable margin. Gixxer SF 250 is available in two shades: Metallic Matte Premium Silver and Metallic Matte Black shade.
At 1,526 units, the sales number of Suzuki’s latest sportbike is much better in comparison to the 250cc Yamaha motorcycles which registered just 910 units in May 2019. The condition of the Honda CBR250R is very bad at the moment with just 54 units sold in the same period. Suzuki will also launch the naked version of Gixxer SF 250 in India by the end of this year. It will compete with the likes of Yamaha FZ25 and the KTM 250 Duke.
